I am in my third and final year at Pakuranga College and I am Chairperson of the school Academic Council plus I belong to the International Student Peer Support Group. I came to NZ because I wanted to learn in a different way. I particularly enjoy studying Computer Science and Robotics because they offer practical labs and I can work independently. I intend to continue studying these subjects next year at Auckland University for a Bachelor of Engineering degree, majoring in Electrical Engineering. After university I intend to work in NZ using my degree. When I left Vietnam I held IELTS 6.5. Talking daily in English has improved my English to a far higher level. I have already passed NCEA Levels 1 and 2 endorsed with Excellence. Living in NZ has given me a much more open lifestyle and I am less introverted. I am not so judgemental and I am more willing to listen to others. This experience has opened up my life.
