We pride ourselves on providing a dynamic and stimulating learning environment that engages our students and inspires them to personal growth, both academically and through our extensive extra-curricular programme. We celebrate ethnic and cultural diversity and encourage our students to take an active part in the community around them. Known especially for our Sports and Music programmes, we have won numerous national and international awards in these areas, and continue to develop our students to the highest levels.

Attending Westlake Girls High School from 2009-2013 was definitely one of the most enriching experiences of my life! The school not only helped me improve my English and broaden my knowledge, but also taught me to function well both independently and in groups.

Westlake offers a good balance between studies and social life, in a very multi-cultural environment where it’s easy to make friends. It’s a large and well-organised school with a highly supportive International Team who were very kind and attentive to me.

After graduating from Westlake, I moved to the UK for university. Given that NCEA is an internationally recognised and trusted qualification, the transition from high school to university was very smooth. I received my bachelors degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol in 2017. I am now in Bangkok, working as a researcher for a renowned Thai political scientist.
